As you head down the road, (pick one of the characters), you spot a gold piece lying in the road. When you try to pick it up, it leaps out of your reach, landing about three feet away, by the side of the road. You reach for it again, but it leaps away again, into the hand of a small, elflike creature, with wings like a bee, about 2 Ĺ feet tall, sitting under a bush, pointing at you, and laughing so hard that he isnít making a sound, just shaking with hilarity.

The creature is a pixie named Sprytips, and his best buddy Tillshins is watching, invisible. The pixies are just having fun, but if they are attacked they will use sleep arrows and invisibility to try and knock out the whole party. If they succeed, they will take all of the partyís clothes and armor, but leaving shields and other equipment. On the other hand, if the party is friendly and has a sense of humor about Sprytipsí little joke, the pixies will give them a purse of 50 gps.
